 Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial artist. She was born August 18, 1986. She is a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as well as being a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was before an Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion. Tate was vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings on October 3, 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb of Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and her husband Robert Schmidt. She was a teen when she was a child and often was on the playground with other boys.
